Re: A Video interview with Dieter

Thanks for sharing!
No rain is definitely a big thing for vineyards, that is undoubtedly why wine is one of the greatest prides here in South Australia too (driest state in Australia).

Re: Anyone have the new album yet?

Touch Yello has yet to appear on the Australian iTunes store so sadly I haven't got it yet. :(

Although there was no Australian release JB Hi-Fi are good for importing albums and that would be why you saw The Eye there. They import a lot of great albums from many artists and is why they can boast such a large catalogue. Like you said there is a good chance they will also bring Touch Yello here.

Funny thing though is as far as the iTunes store for Australia is concerned we actually have a lot more than America does. In fact, all that is missing is Motion Picture, Touch Yello, and Eccentrix. Although hopefully we will get these soon if the demand is there. http://www.apple.com/feedback/itune...

Currently prowling the iTunes store each day awaiting the release and will probably bug the music request page every second day until I see it on my local iTunes store. Those in Germany are lucky enough to already have it in their store.

Haha, to each their own I guess. I'm happy with my MP4s just the way they are. You might as well be trying to sell me on getting a Blu-Ray player to replace my DVD player. I wouldn't worry about digital media replacing physical media as there will always be a demand for it as everyone has the...

Unfortunately I don't think they get the recognition they deserve all over the world. I agree with Bjossi about it being about promoting. If I ask a stranger if they have ever heard of Yello I would probably get a puzzled expression in reply. Ask about the 'Oh Yeah' song, and it's a different story....

As far as albums go I've gone digital. I just had way too many CDs sitting around doing nothing as I just ripped them to my Mac/iPod and then put them away. So far iTunes has had every album I wanted (even The Eye, but no Motion Picture), so am pretty confident my luck will continue. I do still bug ...

This is true... and the original music created for the film would be released on later Yello albums such as Pocket Universe. But I can never get enough Yello so watching an entire movie with Yello through the whole soundtrack is definitely a good thing. Using Yello for the soundtrack really revitali...

Not only that, but they got it years ago. I have the French DVD but unfortunately due to a different region code, not too many DVD players here can play it. I was excited when a local DVD was finally announced and even pre-ordered it. I contacted MadMan, the distributor to voice that I wasn't happy ...

Why I Love Yello

I can imagine everyone discovered Yello in their own different way. For me personally it was my love of cartoons growing up well through my teens (still love them to this day too). I remember seeing Matthew Sweet's girlfriend film-clip on TV. I absolutely loved the animation used during it. One day ...
