January? If that's true it shouldn't be too long before we're seeing album art and/or a track listing.

Thanks, Slaught, I didn't have that either. Quite a stylistic shift from their early days. Would I be right in assuming that the content of Zebra is similar to it?

Well, I'm giving a few tracks from different albums a go. Some of the previews do sound like an edgier, more electronic Solid Pleasure. Now I've just got to figure out the Paypal on the site...

I'm going to buy that track, but I need a few more for the minimum order size. Got any Carlos Peron recommendations?

Re: Latest Album News

- new album with working title "Touch" will be released in February 2009 I'm not sure if I like that name quite as much, but it certainly feels more "Yello". - Boris says it's going to sound like Yello but much more mature That's the vibe I got from Progress & Perfection . L...

Thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully the single will be released online before too long. The snippet in the interview sounds very much like some of the material on Progress & Perfection . http://www.drs3.ch/www/de/drs3/96553.boris-blank-von-yello-live-bei-drs3.html I'm getting to the point where I...

'Rubber West' was actually a kind of prototype for 'Ciel Ouvert'. Interesting. I heard "Ciel Ouvert" after "Rubber West", & felt more than a little deja-vu, even though the tracks are quite a bit different. I haven't heard "Haunted House", but the title sounds neat...

Listening to Stella lately, a few sounds I noticed- -there's a pig squeal near the end of "Oh Yeah" that I didn't hear in the music video. I'm betting it's the same pig from Pumping Velvet . -In fact, I get the feeling that most of "Oh Yeah" is made a distorted vocal bits (and so...

Well, that's a shame, but I'm sure that whatever does get released will be Yello-tastic all the same.

That would be a shame, if it were called off... On another note, I also heard that the new album will be held back until '09 so it won't have to compete with all the holiday releases. This isn't really an issue for me (I've only bought the first four albums. At the rate I've been picking them up it ...

From what I've heard, the arts festival they were to play at was an "invitation-only" type of thing, so chances are you wouldn't be able to get in. I recently read, however, that the festival won't even be happening anymore because of the state of the world economy. Can anyone confirm/deny...

I would hope so. I've wanted to buy a Fairlight ever since I saw that, even if it does cost the same as the average car.

My first music album

Thought I'd let everyone know that I just released my first music album. It's sort of experimental soundtracky weirdness, somewhat inspired by Yello. Give it a look, how about? Here's the cover art-
