Who Saw Dieter stand on his plaque in Zurich Square?

I heard a rumor that someone from our group of yello buddies was infact present when Dieter appeared at the plaque he put in Zurich square back in the 90's. Does anyone know who it was. I would love to know what Dieter said at that time, and how many people turned out to see if he was fair dinkum or not.
