Would drum and bugle get its own category, or does it fall under classical? I heard that Drum Line song and reminded me I REALLY enjoy that music/shows.

Drum and Bugle Corps are similar to your high end college band half time show, but exponentially better. There was a great PBS special on the Drum and Bugle Corps competition - maybe I can find a link and post it for folks to reference.

The Drum and Bugle corps competition comes to my area every year!
It's freekin awesome. There is also a broadway show touring the country that I would love to see called "Blast" which is made up of ex-drum and bugle corps members.

Here is a clip from the show Blast

Thanks for that link! as Yello would say - OOooooh [email protected]!!! That's like Drum&Bugle does Cirque de Soliel does Stomp!

So back to my original question - does this style of music get its own category? I can't think of anything else it could compare to.

I would say that it is it's own Identity, perhaps as a sub-devision of another rehlm, ie:classical, or neoclasical. How about post-classical-neo-dadaistic!
